This erect woody shrub bears small yellowish-white flowers clustered into dense heads. Its hairy leaves have pronounced veins and a strong, aromatic lemon scent, giving the plant its common name. It grows widely across South Africa, particularly along the East Coast. Known as Fever Tea, Lemon Bush has traditionally been used for a wide range of ailments.
